Alec spent five years working in radio before moving into television news. He now uses this experience as a reporter and producer.

Alec is part of the football reporting team with IMG's  PREMIER LEAGUE PRODUCTIONS which broadcasts to 500 million viewers across the globe. The job involves writing, producing and presenting reports and features as well as live match-day reporting from stadia.

American viewers of FOX SOCCER CHANNEL will also recognise Alec as their reporter and post-match interviewer at Champions League games. 

Alec has filled a number of editorial roles for host broadcasters. This includes working with Sunset+Vine to develop TV News coverage for the AMERICA'S CUP and the VOLVO OCEAN RACE. Alec will spent the summer of 2012 working for
UEFA and OBS on their coverage of the Euros and London2012.
 
In 2006 he supervised the official news-wire service for the Torino Winter Olympics and led a team of international journalists delivering quality, accurate copy to tight deadlines. 

His background in sports news began at Central TV in the Midlands before he moved to Sky News as a sports reporter and presenter. He also worked as a freelance reporter for ITN, Five News and Sky Sports News.

 
Alec, who is half Italian and bi-lingual, is a regular contributor on all things British for Italian TV and radio.

Current radio work includes writing and reading the news on TalkSport.
 
Alec has written for websites and magazines and wishes he had the time to sit down and finally write a book!
