Alec is an experienced TV and radio presenter who enjoys all the challenges
of live broadcasting. He's as much at home at a big OB as in the studio.
Recent shows that Alec has presented for SKY SPORTS
include America's Cup sailing, international football, World Badminton Championships from Wembley Arena, US Open tennis,
ATP Masters events from Cincinatti, Indian Wells and Paris as well as Tour Down Under cycling.
Alec enjoys engaging new audiences with non-mainstream sports and in 2010 anchored the UK's
first ever live coverage of the US Open in 3D. In 2007 he became the 'face' of sailing when he fronted Britain's
first live coverage of the America's Cup.
Since 1998 Alec has built up a wealth of presenting experience rooted in television news. He anchored
the regional evening news in the Midlands for Central TV before moving
back to London where he spent 7 years dealing with live breaking sports stories on Sky
News. He has also worked in Singapore presenting ESPN's
flagship sports news show 'Sportcenter' and on Channel FIVE.
It all began at a radio station on the Italian/French Riviera where
Alec hosted the morning show before moving to Milan to deejay. The glamour and lifestyle simply wasn't enough so Alec returned
to UK commercial radio!
